Light Company 2nd Battalion, 1st Foot Guards

Yet more figures to add to my already sizeable commitment for the Waterloo project!

  1. Very nice paint job James. However, are you sure the shako cords should be green as well as the plumes? I can't find that in any of my sources, pretty sure they should be white. Haythorthwaite's "Uniforms of Waterloo" shows a 27th Foot Light Coy Sgt with white cords and a 2nd Foot Guards Light coy sgt with gold cords. Pericoli's "Armies at Waterloo" has a 3rd Guards Lt Coy officer with gold cords and a Lt Coy guardsman with white. Sorry

    1. Chris, don't be sorry.

I used this as my reference, which shows Green Cords and Green Plumes. C'est la vie as they say!

  2. OK fair enough , i stand corrected. Maybe it's the flash in the photo but the ensemble comes across a bit garish. ,However, our project is very lucky to have your energy and enthusiasm applied to it, thank you
