Waterloo - La Haye Saint - 1:3 Scale Refight
As promised, here are some photos from the Waterloo game based around La Haye Saint.
The figure ratio was 1:3 which as you can see led to some large battalions gracing the field!

Here are more pictures from the first Waterloo Game which was a historical re-fight of the battle back in June.
Waterloo Games Part 1 - the Historical refight
All.
I thought I'd share some of the photos from our Waterloo games this summer. I was waiting until the influx of Waterloo related posts had passed before posting my own
These photos are from the first game which was a historical re-fight of the battle.

French Voltiguers
Chris mentioned we needed more French Skirmishers for the Waterloo game, so I dug about in the drawer and found these chaps to paint. Hope you enjoy. As always comments welcome.

Waterloo Project - New additions.
I have realised that for some reason I haven't updated my latest additions to the Waterloo project, here on my blog. So here goes.
I've done an extra flank company for the 27th Regiment of Foot. This is because in a big melee I lost track of which company was the Grenadier Company and which company was the Light Company. As you can see these figures are clearly identifiable as the Light Company. These figures are from the new Front Rank reinforcement packs.
You can also see the new light company of the Coldstream Guards which I've finished. These figures are x 24 plastic Warlord Game figures and the skirmishers are lead Warlord Figures and Plastic Perry Miniatures.
Finally, I have also painted 12x French Dragoons. These Dragoons are the excellent Plastic Figures from Perry Miniatures!
I am seeing a light at the end of the tunnel for my Waterloo project painting now, and it's been great fun!
