As you know I've been painting the 27th Regiment of Foot for the Waterloo project since time began. Well now I've finally finished and I'm pleased that all the hard work has paid off!

27th Regiment of Foot. Nearly finished

As part of the on-going project you know that I've been painting the 27th Regiment of Foot - well I've got one more company to finish and command figures - then they are done!

It's been a while since I've posted, and I decided to share a few photos of my WIP on the 27th Regt of Foot for the Waterloo project.

There will eventually be 7 Companies each of 24 figures plus a few command figures,  mounted officers and colours etc.

I completed the Light Company some time ago and they are boxed up and hence not in this photograph.

I'd like to have the whole battalion finished by the new year.

Waterloo Trip

I've randomly decided at short notice to visit the Waterloo battlefield in Belgium tomorrow for a few days and will return on Friday. It'll hopefully get the motivation up for the masses of painting I still have left to do. Also I've been to Belgium every year since 2010 and still haven't been!
